Chak-chak is a beloved Tatar treat: crispy dough sticks are fried and glued together with hot honey into a golden mound. Once in Kazan they made a chak-chak weighing about four tons — as heavy as a grown elephant!
A mountain of honey sticks! I'll climb to the top... oops, sticky paws. But it smells so sweet!
